Over
the years the Magick River vision of serving as a multidimensional portal
and "Merkaba Wash" has been kept alive by spontaneous donations of energy,
time, goodwill, essential supplies, cash and love. Of course the Angels
who watched over us... the Elves who worked so hard whilst we played...
and the Fairy Godmothers (no Godfathers here, they've all been co-opted
into the government)... who made sure nobody got too skinny, well. they
never knew for sure what was incubating in this neck of the woods. Some
thought we were either very brave or completely insane to abandon the sinking
ship of Economics & Politics and live out here amongst "a bunch of
savages." We thought we were just being sensible. Anyway, we always served
excellent jungle tea (no yucky chemicals in the water!) and our natural
jacuzzis were absolutely irresistible. Well,
we would never have made it these past 14 years were it not for the
generous help we've been showered with. Magick River is NOT an NGO and
we have only just begun to receive some financial support for our conservation
and cultural projects - and for this we are deeply grateful. We continue
to rely on and trust in the Holy Grail some call Lady Gaia or Dame Fortune
or the Goddess Lakshmi - and which we recognize in 3D as our beloved planet
Earth. We would like to thank certain individuals
without whose timely generosity we wouldn't even have a computer and some
furniture to work off (kindly left behind by Piet Croes), nor could we
have activated this website without someone to play the willing host. On
March 22, 1999, a very dear friend and long-time associate of Magick River
decided to help us get our first documentary film project off the ground.
More recently, in 2006, another human angel offered to sponsor Magick River's first DVD project (Rhythm of the Rainforest). Well, Thomas Schöllhammer, Andrew Bird, and Benjamin Drewe, please take a bow for taking
a chance with Magick River!
We'd
prepared a long list of names to put up on this page, but soon realized
we could NEVER be sure we had included every single benefactor we've ever
met (and some of whom we don't even know!) YOU know who you are, and this
is just to say we really appreciate your kindness. May your gifts of love
and friendship and positive feedback be eternally regenerated and may your
goodwill return to you in limitless abundance ~ just like the River of
